Addiction, Awakening & Men's Work ~ Somatic Therapist, Founder & Coach Alex Olshonsky
Nondual CommunicationShow Notes
It was an inspiring joy to sit down with Alex Olshonsky, my sort-of dharma brother from a distance.
Now a young father, Alex has already lived a life that could read like an intense movie script.
After emerging from life-threatening addiction, he found a deep mission in helping men, executives, addicts (which, it turns out, is most of us in one form or another), and humanity more broadly.
In this insightful conversation, Alex shares his journey through addiction, fatherhood, men’s work, and spiritual growth.
Together, we explore the transformative power of vulnerability, nonviolent communication, and the integration of different modalities for healing and personal evolution.

How can we embody our dreams so that they reveal their messages to us? Is the way we hold space the true medicine of psychedelics? And what exactly is the imaginal?
It was a genuine pleasure to speak with and listen to Ken McLeod. Ken is a renowned Buddhist teacher, writer, and former student of Kalu Rinpoche.
Every time I sit down to talk and listen to Yoram Mosenzon, I’m amazed by the depth of his embodiment of Nonviolent Communication, and by how deeply he is able to go through what I experience as his commitment to honesty, self-connection, and trusting the wisdom of the body and Nature’s own unfolding.
I am once again joined by NVC teacher & friend Liv Larsson.
What happens if we allow experience to unfold as it will, without a change agenda? The answer is: I don’t know... but something about this attitude is central to spiritual practice.
