Show Notes
In this collection of autumn stories, we’ll follow a little thread of magic through the Village. We’ll climb into an attic where an old family heirloom and a familiar friend are waiting, find our way into a curious little shop that only appears under just the right circumstances, and step behind the curtain to witness the beginning of a friendship.
Along the way, there will be old trunks and photographs, creaky wooden floors, a velvet-covered book, a small grey cat with yellow eyes, and a copper kettle simmering on the stove with cinnamon sticks and sliced apples. These are stories about old things finding their way home, new friendships beginning, and the gentle magic that can appear when we know where to look.
Featuring:“Grandmother’s Grimoire” (Season 4, Episode 7)“The Curios Shop” (Season 10, Episode 21)“Behind the Curtain” (Season 10, Episode 22)

Our stories today start in the garden, as we harvest a few tomatoes on our way to take the washing down from the line in The Last Warm Days. Then, we’ll shake off a stale mood and find a few small ways to practice joy in A Change of Scenery. Finally, we’ll roll up the cuffs on our pants and step into the sand just as the sun is setting on the lake in Bonfire.
