(***TIMESTAMPS in Description Below) ~ Steven Meyers is a former bank robber and artist who served as the lookout, driver, and prosthetic disguise designer for Scott Scurlock, the notorious "Hollywood Bandit." Shawn Johnson is a retired FBI case agent who spent years tracking the Hollywood Bandit crew as part of the Puget Sound Violent Crimes Joint Task Force. After successfully bringing down the robbery ring in a final 1996 shootout, he read Meyers' prison manuscript decades later, leading the former adversaries to co-author true crime material together.
