Where Did Our Gut Bacteria Come From? - Revealing the Origins of Our Microbiome
Dr. Pradip Jamnadas, MDSummary
Marketers are increasingly voicing concerns about the effectiveness of their ad campaigns, labeling the phenomenon of high impressions without corresponding sales as "bullspend." This term reflects the frustration of professionals who find that metrics such as impressions do not translate into meaningful business results. The discussion emphasizes the need for marketers to focus on revenue generation rather than superficial metrics.
The conversation shifts to the critical role of gut bacteria in human development, particularly in infants. Research indicates that the bacteria present in a newborn's gut are influenced by factors such as birth method and breastfeeding. The presence of beneficial bacteria is essential for proper physiological and brain development, with studies showing that disruptions in this microbial community can lead to long-term health issues, including autoimmune diseases and developmental disorders.
The impact of antibiotics on gut flora is also highlighted, with evidence suggesting that early exposure can have lasting negative effects on an individual's microbiome. This depletion of beneficial bacteria may contribute to chronic health problems in future generations, raising concerns about the long-term implications of modern medical practices and dietary habits on public health. The discussion underscores the importance of fostering a healthy gut microbiome from infancy to promote overall health and prevent chronic diseases later in life.

When I talk about dinner, I’m talking about a true feast, especially when you’re breaking a fast. This is the one meal of the day where you have the chance to fuel your body and brain with real, nutrient-dense foods. Too many people turn to processed products that wreck metabolism, disturb sleep, and leave you hungry again. I want to show you why dinner matters most, how to eat for your microbiome, and how the right feast can help you thrive, not just survive.Remember that my videos are not a substitute for individualized medical care by a qualified physician. Start your day off right by eating foods that help promote healthy gut bacteria and that don't spike your insulin levels. Also remember, that if you're on a fasting program, you can skip the breakfast. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. And if you're not hungry, my advice to most people is skip the breakfast.Uploaded 03-12-21This is the first of a 3 part series on grocery shopping this holiday season.Part 2 is now live!https://youtu.be/gVsxe9v72C0Subscribe to the Channel to get notified when the next two videos get released!https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOtQHehGWtblMp1gZC8Kq3Q?sub_confirmation=1In my previous lectures I discuss in more detail the topic of diet and fasting:"Fasting for Survival" - https://youtu.be/RuOvn4UqznU"The Fat Lies" - https://youtu.be/Yo-IL-LH5FQ"The Bittersweet Truth" - https://youtu.be/6zZBiTfIp4QMy other Videos:What is a Kraft Test? - https://youtu.be/SxS2AayOHmoWhy your Cardiac Examination is Incomplete- https://youtu.be/Rzb5r8FXpRUTreat High Blood Pressure's Root Cause - https://youtu.be/yaf1swrS1_cWhat is a Coronary Calcium Score? - https://youtu.be/NYkW2vxyiocWhat is a CT Angiogram (CTA) of the Heart? - https://youtu.be/uHpN1FQ-HvoWhat is Cardioversion? - https://youtu.be/yb-srtyEOuYWhat is a Leadless Pacemaker? - https://youtu.be/2CYZbeYSvVEWhat is Right Heart Catheterization? - https://youtu.be/2hy05-dM-lMWhat is a Heart Attack? - https://youtu.be/lPzT62_b4KoHeart Attack Treatment - https://youtu.be/N0vFV3wOGPUWhat is an Echocardiogram? - https://youtu.be/DZ3G8P0L_sMMonitoring Heart Failure with CardioMEMS - https://youtu.be/A35IsJxs6mwIntroduction to Cardiac Catheterizations - https://youtu.be/k4UyUBGnojUWhat is a Loop Recorder? - https://youtu.be/mXHAuV27bs8External Counterpulsation (ECP) for Chest Pain and Coronary Calcium - https://youtu.be/4wd-3WyvlNQSign up for my Heart Health emailshttps://orlandocvi.com/heart-health-updates-yt/Chapters:0:00 Introduction1:08 Do I need to eat breakfast?2:31 Soda for breakfast2:10 Coffee and tea 2:36 Milk3:20 processed cereals and carbohydrates4:50 Feeling hungry after eating high carb meal 5:46 The importance of fiber 7:46 Bad bacteria in your gut7:58 Eggs and cheese 8:50 Fruit, fruit juices, and whole foods10:56 Yogurt, blueberries and your gut bacteria12:58 Grapes and excessive fructose15:08 OutroSocial Links:https://www.facebook.com/orlandocvihttps://www.instagram.com/pradipjamnadasmd/https://www.facebook.com/pradipjamnadasmd/About Dr. Pradip Jamnadas, MD, MBBS, FACC, FSCAI, FCCP, FACPThe founder and Chief Medical Officer of Cardiovascular Interventions, P.A. in Orlando Florida where, since 1990, he has been repeatedly recognized in local publications as a Top Doctor performing thousands of interventional procedures in hospital and out patient settings.
