Why does God allow us to go through painful seasons in our lives? We start answering this question in 1 Peter 1:1-9 and get hope from the Word of God.
This week we look into John 12:27-36. God's Word points us to how Christ's death accomplishes God's purposes and reshapes our perspective of life.
In John 12:12-26, we see the famous scene: Jesus riding on a donkey into Jerusalem as the crowds cry "Hosanna". But was does it mean for Jesus to truly be King? Today's sermon points to how Jesus acts as a King and why he deserves to be on the throne.
This week in John 11:45-12:11, our passage points to the contrast between the spiritually blind who try to save themselves and Jesus as the true Saviour that unites all people to himself.
NOTE: Due to technical difficulties on Sunday, there are a couple of minutes of the sermon recording that are missing. You will notice a brief pause in the audio that indicates where the recording skips. In John 11:1-44, Jesus's friend Lazarus dies. When Jesus hears the news, He maintains incredible restraint. Why? Let's look at the view of death Jesus holds and the hope He models for us.
