Ian shares his journey of growing up in a Christian home, knowing the Lord from a young age, and yet wrestling with what it meant to truly pursue Him. From feeling out of place in his early years to encountering a genuine Christian community in college, Ian opens up about the turning points that shaped his faith. Through simple but real experiences in small groups, friendships, and stepping out to follow the Lord, his view of his Christian life began to deepen. He also shares how the Lord broadened his heart through experiences abroad, seeing the need for the gospel beyond his own world, and realizing that God’s purpose is much bigger than just one place or one stage of life. This episode is a reminder that the Christian life isn’t meant to be lived alone and that the Lord is faithful to lead us, grow in us, and place us exactly where we need to be. When God calls, do you squirm to get out of His call? When His finger points the way, do you try to run the other direction? Peter describes his heritage, his youth, and his ministry today in terms of a response to God. The question is not what do we want to do for God, but what do we do when God indicates to us what He wants us do.
AJ and Suzanne reflect on how God honored early consecration, even the simple prayer, "Lord, whatever You are doing on earth, I want to be in the middle of it." Now grandparents, AJ and Suzanne share how life becomes richer when we live for God's pleasure instead of our own, relating their experiences as hosts of the church through opening their home wherever they have lived in cities from coast to coast. This conversation comes with decades of perspective, memories and stories of how God can take that prayer, use all things for His glory, and bless us in the midst of each of the chapters of our lives.

This conversation is a testimony not of a smooth and clear path, but of a faithful God whose hand was present in success, failure, waiting, and growth.Whether you are a student, a young professional, a parent, or someone simply longing for a deeper experience of Christ, Brian’s testimony is a reminder that the Lord is simply seeking each one of us.
