Hi Mamas, Have you ever had something you REALLY wanted to do…but you thought about it so much that you eventually talked yourself right out of doing it? You researched. You planned. You worried about what could go wrong and what other people might think. You told yourself you’d start when you had more time, knew more, felt more confident, or finally had everything figured out. And then…you didn’t start. Mama, this episode is for you. And if I’m being real, it’s for me too. Right now, I’m in a season of dreaming BIG for Mom Wife Career Life. I’m building courses and resources, coaching, growing the podcast, learning more about marketing, and pushing myself WAY outside of my comfort zone by showing up more on video and social media. As an introvert and recovering perfectionist, that doesn’t exactly come naturally to me. 😂 But I’m realizing that there comes a point when we have to stop thinking about the thing…and actually DO the thing. In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between preparing and hiding, why consuming more information can sometimes become another form of procrastination, and why you don’t have to feel confident before you begin. Because confidence usually comes AFTER you start. Your first workout doesn’t need to be perfect. Your first budget doesn’t need to be perfect. Your first Reel, podcast, business idea, boundary, career move, or attempt at something new doesn’t need to be perfect. You learn by doing. You build confidence by doing. And sometimes 80% and DONE will take you much further than 100% perfect sitting unfinished on your computer. I’m also sharing what manifesting looks like for me right now—not simply wishing for something and hoping it magically happens, but getting clear about what I want, believing it’s possible, and then asking myself: What do I need to DO to move toward it? Because manifesting the life you want isn’t just about believing it’s possible. It’s about being willing to participate in creating it. In this episode, we talk about:

How overthinking can disguise itself as “preparing”

Why you don’t have to feel ready before you start

The connection between action and confidence

How perfectionism keeps us stuck

Why learning and getting help are valuable—but eventually you have to DO something with what you learn

Taking action when you’re scared or uncomfortable

Why one small next step is enough

The role action plays in manifesting your goals

What I’m personally doing to push myself outside my comfort zone and grow Mom Wife Career Life

Your Next Step Think about the thing you keep saying you’ll do “when.” When work slows down. When the kids are older. When you have more money. When you lose the weight. When you know more. When you’re more confident. When you finally feel ready. What if you don’t need to wait for “when”? You don’t need to figure out the next twenty steps today. Just take one. Send the email. Make the appointment. Apply for the job. Take the walk. Sign up for the class. Post the video. Start the budget. Buy the domain. Have the conversation. Ask for help. Whatever your thing is… take one step. ✨ Goal Manifesting Planner If there’s something you want but you’ve been stuck overthinking it, grab my Goal Manifesting Planner. Goal Manifesting Planner … You don’t have to have it all figured out. You don’t have to be fearless. And you definitely don’t have to do it perfectly. You just have to start. 👉 And I want to hear what you’re moving forward with this week! Hi Mamas, What if you could feel happier, less stressed, and more fulfilled without changing your circumstances, spending money, or adding another thing to your already overflowing to-do list? As busy working moms, we're constantly looking ahead to the next thing. When work slows down, when the kids get older, when we lose the weight, when the house is finally organized... THEN we'll be happy. But what if happiness isn't something we have to keep chasing? What if we could experience more happiness right now simply by appreciating the little moments of joy already happening around us? In today's episode, we're talking about the power of practicing gratitude and how developing a gratitude mindset can help you find more happiness, appreciate everyday moments, and live a more intentional, fulfilling life. I'm sharing how gratitude has become part of my daily prayer and meditation routine, a beautiful moment with my daughter that reminded me what really matters, and the story of a woman I've never met who completely changed how I think about finding joy. We're also talking about why our brains tend to focus on negative experiences, how gratitude can help us shift our perspective, and why being thankful for your life doesn't mean you have to stop wanting more. In This Episode, You'll Learn:

Hi Mamas, What if the secret to feeling happier isn't about changing your life, but changing what you choose to notice? As busy working moms, we're constantly thinking about what's next. Between our careers, kids, marriages, and never-ending to-do lists, it's easy to get so caught up in managing our lives that we forget to actually enjoy them. In this week's Monday Mindset episode of Mom Wife Career Life, we're talking about how practicing gratitude can help you find more happiness, appreciate the little moments, and live a more intentional life, even when things feel overwhelming. Inspired by the quote from Mary Davis, "The more grateful I am, the more beauty I see," we're exploring a simple mindset shift that can change the way you experience your everyday life. Because gratitude isn't about pretending everything is perfect. It's not about ignoring your struggles or giving up on your dreams. It's about recognizing that you can be working toward a better future while still appreciating the beautiful things happening right now. In this episode, we'll talk about:

Hi Mamas, Have you ever had a difficult conversation you knew you needed to have, but kept putting it off because you were anxious about how it might go? Maybe it's talking to your boss about your workload, asking your husband for more help, addressing something with your teenager, or finally setting a boundary with someone in your life. And instead of having the conversation, you've already had it in your head about 50 times! You've rehearsed what you're going to say, imagined every possible reaction, and worked yourself up over something that hasn't even happened yet. Sound familiar, mama? I've been there! In this episode, I'm sharing practical tips to help you navigate difficult conversations, overcome communication anxiety, set healthy boundaries, and speak up with more confidence… both at work and at home. After years of struggling with difficult conversations myself, I've learned that confidence doesn't always come before the conversation. Sometimes it comes from realizing you can handle uncomfortable situations, even when things don't go exactly as planned. In this episode, we're talking about:

Hi Mamas, Do you avoid difficult conversations because you're afraid of conflict, disappointing someone, or saying the wrong thing? Whether it's speaking up at work, asking your husband for more help, setting boundaries, or addressing something that's been bothering you, avoiding uncomfortable conversations can create more stress, resentment, and overwhelm. In today’s episode, we're talking about choosing courage over comfort and learning to stop letting fear hold you back. Inspired by Brené Brown's quote, “You can choose courage, or you can choose comfort, but you cannot choose both,” we'll talk about why avoiding uncomfortable situations doesn't always protect your peace and how small acts of courage can build confidence, strengthen relationships, and help you create a healthier work-life balance. In this episode, you'll learn:

Hi Mamas, What if the person who hurt you never says, “I'm sorry”? Can you still forgive them? And maybe an even bigger question: Should you? As we head into the holiday season, I'm bringing back an episode from the Mom Wife Career Life archives that I think is worth hearing again… or maybe hearing for the very first time. Because the holidays have a way of bringing everything to the surface. Old relationships. Family tension. Hurt feelings. Resentment. Grief. Memories. And sometimes, anger we've been carrying around much longer than we realize. So today, we're talking about forgiveness without an apology. And mama, forgiveness does NOT mean pretending that what someone did was okay. It doesn't mean forgetting what happened. It doesn't mean abandoning your boundaries. And it doesn't necessarily mean letting someone back into your life. Sometimes forgiveness simply means deciding that you don't want to carry the pain anymore. In this episode, we're talking about how to forgive someone who hurt you even when they aren't sorry, why forgiveness doesn't require reconciliation, and how to begin releasing anger and resentment when you never received the closure you deserved. I'm also sharing a deeply personal part of my own story about my relationship with my dad, the anger I carried after he passed away, and how forgiveness eventually helped me release that resentment and find peace. We'll also talk about forgiving someone who is no longer here, forgiving a friendship you had to walk away from, and one of the hardest people we sometimes have to forgive: Ourselves. Because forgiveness isn't always about setting someone else free. Sometimes it's about finally setting yourself free. And at the end of the episode, I'm giving you a simple “Bless and Release” exercise you can try to help you acknowledge what you're carrying and begin letting some of it go. As you listen, I want you to ask yourself: What am I still carrying that I'm ready to put down? Maybe you're not ready to forgive today. That's okay. But maybe you're ready to stop giving something that happened in your past so much space in your present. And if you're heading into the holidays already feeling the pressure of everything that needs to get done, don't forget to grab my FREE Christmas Planning Made Simple Guide Inside, you'll find tools to help you organize your Christmas budget, gift list, activities, calendar and holiday plans so you can spend less time trying to remember everything and more time actually being present for the season. Grab your free copy using the link in the show notes. And make sure you come back next week because we're continuing this conversation by talking about something that often goes hand-in-hand with forgiveness: How to have difficult conversations. Because sometimes asking for forgiveness—or offering forgiveness—means having a conversation you've been avoiding. We'll talk about how to say what needs to be said, communicate how you're feeling, and navigate difficult conversations with the people you care about. Until then, mama, remember: Forgiveness doesn't erase the story. It changes how you carry it forward. 👉 And I want to hear what you’re moving forward with this week!
