At Beckett Station in Antarctica, Global energy company Advantage prepares for an expedition unlike any other. A crew of five will spend two days aboard the state-of-the-art submarine Virgil, as it slowly descends to the bottom of a newly discovered deep sea fissure. The voyage hasn’t even begun and already marine biologist Dr Marion Straker finds herself at odds with the clashing egos and fawning yes-men of the Antarctic base. And worse than that is the doubt. The inescapable feeling that she doesn’t deserve to be there.

Definitely Human launches its latest audio drama: THE DIVIDE!
The crew of the DSV Virgil have survived horrors and catastrophes, and now it seems too much to hope for survival, let alone salvation. But Marion, Sam and Marcus will not accept defeat. In the past, present or future, in this world or the next, there must be some sliver of a chance. Maybe that will be enough.
Marion confronts Marcus, but even in his manic, fractured state he is more of a danger than she realises. Sam has relinquished control and put all his faith in the Virgil, but a splinter of doubt still troubles his mind. Meanwhile the Entity finally reveals its intent.
With Marcus still roaming the Virgil, Marion and Sam must watch each other’s backs to stay alive. But Sam’s instinct to play it safe runs afoul of Marion’s proactivity, as she decides that the only way to survive is to meet their problem head on.
The Virgil comes under assault by the Entity, and her crew must work in harmony if they are to have any hope of escape. But even if Marion and Sam are able to navigate the submarine out of immediate danger, there are still deeper, crueler horrors waiting to reveal themselves.
