Drone World: The Podcast by CoptrzShow Notes
Welcome to Drone World, the drone podcast by Coptrz! In this inspection and surveying mash-up, our industry experts George Burne and James Pick uncover the game-changing applications for the Matrice 300 RTK.
With a catalogue of payloads to choose from it’s no surprise that this is hotly becoming the go-to UAV for organisations around the world. Our experts discuss the sensors like the PhaseOne P3, DJI P1 and the U10, and how these integrations can be used in the real world. George and James also cover how Plowman Craven uses drones to survey rail lines, how one small automobile parts business increased their productivity using drones to deliver spare vehicle parts, and how Michael Jordan uses drones to deliver beer at his private golf course.
George says, "I saw a video of Michael Jordan's golf course, and he is doing drone deliveries of beers, spare balls, whatever it is you need by drone! dropped it just off the tee box, left the box where it was, they went in, grabbed whatever they needed, and I think in this case it was two six-packs of beers and the drone then flew off... There are places up in the north of England who are also doing that on some of their sites for the likes of camping because it's that exciting futuristic element that is needed to set them apart from their competition."
To hear this and many more exciting uses of drone technology across the inspection and surveying sectors, tune in to this episode of Drone World.
