I MMEDIATE FAMILY WEEK! Danny Kortchmar Picks The Essential James Taylor Danny Kortchmar shares his essential James Taylor songs. Danny and James became friends at a young age in New York and have followed each other professionally through early bands in the New York club scene, through collaborations with other artists, and obviously through James' wildly successful career. Danny picks his ten favorite (at the moment) James songs, why they're meaningful to him, his memories or writing/recording them, and loads of James and Immediate Family anecdotes and trivia. Long-time friends and musical collaborators Danny Kortchmar, Russ Kunkel, Waddy Wachtel, Steve Postell, and Leland Sklar have come together to form The Immediate Family. Tune in this week on Pods & Sods as they each share memories of their careers, pick the essential songs from some of their favorite colleagues, talk about their new album, and much more!

CRAIG & BRIAN WATCH 007 / 002 :: FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE a P&S/PRP presentation Legions of 007 fans can't be wrong! YOU demanded it and we listened! Craig & Brian ARE BACK and ready to tackle the thrill-packed, danger-ridden second installment of the long-running James Bond film franchise: From Russia with Love!! Craig Smith, rapidly approaching a dozen movies watched in lifetime and now fully caffeine-free, leads an exciting discussion that follows gentleman secret agent James Bond around the globe from England to Turkey to Yugoslavia to Italy. Brian Linnen, rather embarrassed after years of telling his friends and family that he coined the phrase "Where there's smoke there's fire", does his best to flavor the discussion with trivia from his years of Bond fandom. And taking a cue from the film itself, the two end the episode by engaging in ritualistic hand-to-hand gypsy combat for the love of Minnesota's pride and joy, Andy Schaal. Craig and Brian feel that 60 years is enough time for everyone to have watched "From Russia with Love", so spoilers will be flying faster than a Peter Hunt edited fight scene! You have been warned!! Thanks to Robbie Sims for lending his dulcet tones to the show's introduction, and to the Jingle Punks for the use of their cool spy song "Choose Your Path."
