As you probably know, “futebol” is the most popular sport in Brazil, and I think that's why there are so many expressions with the word “bola” (ball) in Brazilian Portuguese. ⚽️ This year is a World Cup year, so I thought this would be a good time to share with you some very common expressions that originally came from “futebol”, but that are now used in many different contexts in the daily lives of Brazilians.
