At just 21 years old, Latisha McCrudden is already making her voice heard and challenging stereotypes.
An Irish Traveller activist, law student, podcast host and karate black belt, Latisha is passionate about breaking down barriers, promoting equality and creating opportunities for the next generation.
Starting karate at just four years old and earning her black belt at 14, Latisha developed discipline, resilience and determination from an early age. She also entered the workforce as soon as she was old enough, taking on a job as a kitchen porter.
Today, she's entering her fourth year of studying law while actively advocating for young people, women and the Traveller community.
Through her involvement with the Irish Traveller Movement Youth Forum, the National Women's Council and the National Youth Assembly, Latisha is helping ensure that underrepresented voices are heard.
She's also a passionate advocate for domestic violence awareness and co-hosts Paving the Way, a podcast dedicated to sharing the experiences and stories of young Irish Travellers.
