Inaugural New York City Glam Metal Fest... w/Beau Brent of Ferrett.

In Season 2, Episode 2 of the Youth Gone Mild Podcast, joining Gen X Joe is the man helping to make the inaugural New York City Glam Metal Fest all happen, the frontman of FerreTT, Beau Brent. On June 27, 2026, Brooklyn, New York becomes ground zero for a full-scale glam metal invasion as The Meadows hosts the New York City Glam Metal Fest. Two stages. Twelve bands. Countless guitar riffs. Enough Aqua Net to trigger a weather advisory.

Headlined by OG's Heavens Edge and Ted Poley of Danger Danger fame, the festival lineup also features Roughouse (formerly Teeze), WANTED, Wicked, The Midnight Devils, FerreTT, Breakker, TYKIN, Ready To Strike, Rattle Bones, and Snow White Band. It's shaping up to be one of the biggest celebrations of glam, sleaze, hard rock, and melodic metal the East Coast has seen in years. Green X Joe and Brent talk about how the festival came together, what fans can expect from this historic first year, the resurgence of glam metal, and why the spirit of the Sunset Strip is alive and well in 2026. So grab your leather jacket, tease up what's left of your hair, crank the volume to eleven, and get ready for a backstage pass into the making of the first-ever New York City Glam Metal Fest.
