Welcome back! Season 3 is finally here! We should all be excited! The boys welcome their first quasi-celebrity, Dr. Dean Scott, vet extraordinaire. It addition to being a vet (in both senses, spending 5 years in the US Army Veterinary Corps), he is a multi-genre published author. He is currently working on the third of the "Dragon Vet" Series, with the second, "The Dragon Vet's Apprentice" released in October of 2023. He does not stop at fantasy, though. He has covered just about every genre and style there is. Come sit in on this wonderful afternoon with the equally wonderful Dean. Holy cow, folks! We have a great episode in store this week. The Idiots welcome comedien/musician/roast master/peak awesome human being Rebecca Jaffe to talk about dog walking. For a lot of people, dog walking is just a vehicle for a romcom couple to meet, but for some, it's a way to make ends meet and allow busy people the chance to have their dogs get exercise. They discuss how dogwalking works, different apps (think Tinder or Uber, but for dogwalkers), then move into more important topics, such as the best worst movies, and finish up with a few (semi-animal related) songs. I have to say, sometimes something worming its way into your heart is not a good thing. Case in point, heart worms, the topic this week. Kent and Cory talk preventatives, symptoms, and other random tangents. The only time you should not have heart worm prevantitives, or have any concerns for your dog regarding heart worms, is if you live somewhere that mosquitoes exclusively do not live and will never be. If that doesn't describe your locale, take care of your doggo's heart.
