The Great American Baking Show Roku S3E3: Bread Week
Krème Pâtissière: A Great British Bake-Off PodcastShow Notes
It’s Bread Week!!!! Before anything else, Paul Hollywood is, a bread baker. This means Bread Week will always be a bit of a challenge to the bakers and this go round is no different. But you know what makes recapping and reviewing Bread Week all the more special? Having yet another baker from this season joins us to discuss their time in the tent, baking and their bread-based thoughts. This week, we are super lucky to be joined by the brilliant Parwana Ashari and y’all are not ready! As for the remaining bakers in the tent, they had to try their hands at Soda Bread, Donuts and a bread sculpture and boy howdy is that a lot! Want to catch up with us or even pass us? All 6 Episodes of The Great American Baking Show are available on The Roku Channel right now and you should probably be watching. We’ll do it again next week. Thanks for watching and listening

Bread Week was wild one. Lot of raw dough. What was described as the worst Technical in 17 series, followed by a Showstopper that really separated the wheat from the chaff of our bakers. We also, sadly has to say goodbye to the Ebullient Nikki who unfortunately lost her mother. We of course send her and her family and loved ones our sincerest condolences. Next week, it’s Dessert Week, see you there. Thanks, Team Krème Pat
It’s the first ever Audience Choice Week! and, it was pretty good, and a decent bit of fun. We get to meet some of our baker’s families, see how well they do under wild pressure, and see who can get their design on. Week three, we discover, is the week when we develop attachments to our bakers and when a baker leaves it gets rough. Next time, it’s Bread Week which mean’s Paul is going to be on the warpath. Can’t wait to discuss, hope to see you in the chat.
Week two and we still have a full complement of bakers (due to some tummy troubles in week 1). It’s Biscuit Week and it’s so fun to watch as an American as the Brits just don’t get cookies. Our bakers are still crushing it this week and this ep was such a delight to watch and recap. Hope you enjoy, let’s do it again next week for the first ever Audience Choice Week Thanks, TeamKrème Pat
The Bake-Off is back and so are we. Series/Season 17 looks to be bringing a lot of changes to the tent including a new judge, the sumptuous Nigella Lawson. Our new batch of bakers look like a super fun group and Cake Week was an amazingtest of their mettle. Thanks for joining in to watch or listen. We’ll do it again next time for Biscuit Week. Until then, Thanks, TeamKrème Pat
It all comes down to this! And let me tell you, The Knicks aren’t New York’s only champion this year! Our finalists are, Meeki Lad, Melissa Curmi and Ruiqi Chen in the first ever all Asian Final that must be recognized and celebrated, and trust, this final is a doozy! From meringues to mesmerizing topsy turvy cakes this amazing season concludes with just as much of a baking banger. Big up to the PR Team for helping us have the opportunity to meet and interview all of this season’s bakers. Thanks to all the viewers, commenters and always love to the homie Frank for supporting what we do. We will certainly see you in the fall for Bake-Off and who knows what the summer will bring. Until next time, continue to bake with us.
