UAP Files Podcast S4|21 Today's guest is Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, the former Director of AARO (the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) and one of the most senior intelligence officials ever to publicly engage with the UFO/UAP topic.Over a career spanning decades, Sean has worked across the CIA, NRO, DIA, National Security Council, US Strategic Command, and US Space Command, holding positions including Chief Technology Officer at the DIA and Deputy Director of Intelligence for both STRATCOM and Space Command.Of all the people in the UFO world, Sean is someone I've wanted to speak to for a long time. Not because I expected shocking revelations, but because I'm fascinated by the human side of this subject just as much as the technology. Sean sits right at the centre of one of the most controversial debates in modern UFO history. In this conversation we discuss AATIP, AAWSAP, Skinwalker Ranch, government secrecy, pilot testimony, CE5, Jake Barber, the Nimitz case, and why Sean remains unconvinced that any evidence points to non-human intelligence.Whether you agree with him or not, few people have had a better view of the intelligence world, and even fewer have become such a polarising figure within the UFO community.Timestamps below.**TIMESTAMPS** 00:00 – Introduction, music, life after AARO, and the personal toll of becoming a public figure 08:53 – Harassment, doxxing, family impacts, and Sean’s experience with the UFO community 11:13 – Jesse Michels’ $100,000 podcast challenge and Sean’s response 13:36 – Life after AARO: consulting, national security work, and leaving government service 15:58 – Keeping secrets: intelligence culture, NDAs, classified programs, and personal sacrifices 27:12 – Should the public know more? Secrecy, transparency, and classification for “embarrassment” 30:19 – AATIP, AAWSAP, Skinwalker Ranch, FOIA requests, and whether secrecy & misdirection fuels conspiracy theories 34:02 – Extraterrestrial life vs UFO conspiracy narratives 39:36 – CE5, consciousness, interdimensional, time travel, extraterrestrial hypothesis, and how AARO evaluates claims 45:35 – Skywatch, Jake Barber, “summoning” UAPs, and Sean’s assessment of the evidence 47:00 – “The best outcome would be proving aliens” – clarifying Sean’s comments on UAP investigations. What is in our back yard? 49:50 – Radar anomalies, sensor limitations, and how extraordinary cases are analysed 53:40 – Human witnesses vs sensor data: David Fravor, Alex Dietrich, pilot testimony, and sensors 56:00 – The Nimitz "Tic Tac" encounter 58:08 – Current AARO Director Jon Kosloski, unexplained cases he cant explain, Sean’s response 59:40 – Final thoughts and closing remarksThanks for watching! This is some of the most fascinating UFO footage I've seen in a while.Filmed over Long Beach, California, on 21 October 2017, the footage appears to show a large, bright, egg-shaped UFO seemingly releasing dozens of smaller orbs into the atmosphere.According to the man who captured it, known on X as Jim Films UFOs, he initially spotted two objects crossing paths before focusing his camera on the larger one. What happened next is pretty extraordinary. As he zoomed in using his full-spectrum infrared camera, the object appeared to begin ejecting smaller spheres, initially forming a triangular formation before releasing what he estimates to be at least 40 individual orbs.Interestingly, Jim claims these smaller objects were only visible through his infrared camera. In this video, I share the original footage, make some basic adjustments to the contrast and colours (no AI upscaling), and take a closer look at what appears to be happening.I also revisit two fascinating UFO cases from New Zealand, including footage captured by Elliot Howie in Christchurch showing a strangely shaped object seemingly releasing smaller objects, and imagery captured by Ray Hermans showing unusual egg-shaped objects in the sky.Could these sightings be connected? Are we looking at something similar, or is there a more conventional explanation?I'd love to hear what you think in the comments.Want to support the channel?
