United Drop Points to 10 Men Again! Not Good Enough | Man Utd 1-1 Spurs REACTION

The Promised Land | A Manchester United Podcast

Show Notes

Manchester United's difficult start to the season continues after a hugely disappointing 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, raising further questions about Michael Carrick's future.

Despite taking the lead through Bryan Mbeumo and playing against ten men following Rodrigo Bentancur's dismissal, United conceded a late equaliser to Dominic Solanke and dropped another two points.

But the result is only part of the problem. United's lack of intensity, urgency and attacking cohesion remains a major concern, with Spurs arguably the better side for much of the contest.

Why are United struggling to impose themselves on matches? Is Carrick getting enough from his players, and how much responsibility should he take for the team's performances? With just six points from six Premier League games, is his position now becoming genuinely vulnerable?
