We're Not Into Spooky Because Spooky Is Too Real | Halloween, Fear & Following Jesus
She Lives PurposefullyShow Notes
Is Halloween actually evil? Are Christians participating in something they shouldn’t?
We participated in Halloween last year. We tried to bring some light and fun into the day, but this year, we’re approaching Halloween differently.
In this episode, I’m sharing why we’re choosing to step away from the scary side of Halloween.
We’ll talk about fear, witches, ghosts, death, spiritual warfare, what the Bible actually says about sorcery and witchcraft, and why I don't want to intentionally expose my toddler to things that I don't think he’s old enough to understand yet.

What do you do when you don't know what God wants you to do next?
You know the sin you need to let go of. You know the step of faith you’ve been putting off. You know you should forgive, give, pray, share the gospel, change direction, or finally surrender that thing you’ve been trying to control.
Today, I’m sharing a core part of my testimony, a family tragedy that completely rocked my faith but that God used to transform my life and my love for Him.
Are you actually living purposefully—or are you just getting through the day?
(A good to the very end REPLAY!) If you’ve ever felt stuck in sin, guilt, or shame —this episode is for you. Today we’re talking about how sin holds us back from the life God has for us, how to fight it in practical and biblical ways, and how God restores, redeems, and leads us forward (even after we’ve messed up).
