And just when the pieces finally start fitting together, someone makes it very clear that they don’t want the truth uncovered.
Smiley, Steinmetz, and Walenski regroup over breakfast to plan their next moves as suspicions surrounding Milford’s leadership and buried secrets continue to grow. When the team splits up to pursue separate leads, an ordinary trip takes a dangerous turn. Officer Schilling uncovers troubling connections to Samantha Burke’s disappearance, and newly discovered occult evidence suggests the strange events spreading through town are part of something much larger. With danger closing in and trust wearing thin, the investigation pushes everyone closer to answers they may not be ready to face.
