Show Notes
We’re bringing this conversation back because it feels just as timely now as when it was first recorded.
In this episode, Dr. Ed Newton sits down with NCAA standout and 12x All-American swimmer Riley Gaines for a powerful conversation on faith, courage, fairness, and the future of women’s sports.
Riley shares her personal experience competing at the collegiate level, the moment that changed the trajectory of her life, and how her faith gave her the courage to speak up when it would have been easier to stay silent. Together, Dr. Ed and Riley discuss the importance of protecting fair competition, the original purpose of Title IX, the biological differences between men and women in athletics, and the real safety and privacy concerns many female athletes are facing today.
This conversation is not just about sports. It’s about conviction, compassion, truth, courage, and what it looks like to stand firm in a culture that often pressures people to stay quiet.
Whether you missed it the first time or are watching again, this is a timely reminder that faith is not meant to stay silent when truth and people are at stake.
