We're picking up from where we left off in Episode 33 so be sure to listen to that first if you haven't already. We left that ultrasound with a review of the process all the way up to the mid-cycle ultrasound and this episode continues on from that appointment. We talk you through the emotional, logistical, and mental aspect leading up to the embryo transfer day followed by the full story of our third embryo transfer and what that day looked like for us. We end the episode by touching on the brutal two week wait that comes after the embryo transfer and before signing off, we make sure to give you a bunch of tangible tools or tips to help you know how to support someone going through this.
Our hope with this episode is to help other infertility warriors feel less alone while also helping others to better understand the process of an embryo transfer with IVF. That being said, consider this part journal entry and part informational packet. We wanted to share our own personal experience as we navigate our third embryo transfer, but we also really wanted to help you understand what these days really look like if this is something you're getting ready to step into.
