Jimmy Jam on Janet, what he taught Michael & learned from Prince

Allison sits down with 5 time grammy winner and both a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame Inductee, Jimmy Jam. He and his production partner, Terry Lewis, have more Billboard #1s than any other songwriting/production team in chart history. With a career spanning over four decades, he has worked with icons including Prince, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Usher, Maria Carey, and Mary J Blige and not only worked with, but helped develop Janet Jackson’s sound. They talk all about the stories behind working with Janet Jackson, lessons learned from Prince’s passing, teaching Michael Jackson what’s most important, and they even receive a special call-in from Terry Lewis.
