Bring People to Jesus

BetterMan Podcast

Show Notes

In this episode, we explore the life of Andrew, one of Jesus’ first disciples, and a man whose quiet faith had an extraordinary impact. Although Andrew is not mentioned as often as some of the other apostles, a consistent pattern appears throughout the Gospels: Andrew was always bringing people to Jesus.

After hearing John the Baptist identify Jesus as the Messiah, Andrew followed Jesus and then immediately went to find his brother, Simon Peter, saying, “We have found the Messiah.” Andrew’s first recorded act was introducing someone else to Jesus—a moment that would ultimately influence the ministry of Peter and the growth of the early church. Are You Making a Difference or Just Blending In? Jesus called us to be the salt of the earth, but what does that really mean for men today? In this episode of the BetterMan Podcast, we explore what it means to be a “Salty Man”—a man who stands firm in his faith, leads with conviction, and makes a lasting impact on the people around him. Drawing from Matthew 5:13, we challenge men to stop blending into the culture and start living with purpose. Whether you're a husband, father, friend, or leader, God has called you to be a man who influences the world rather than being influenced by it. The question is simple: Are you bringing the salt, or have you lost your flavor?

Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the willingness to stand firm in faith, truth, and obedience to God even when fear is present. A courageous man understands that biblical manhood is not defined by power, success, toughness, or control, but by character, humility, sacrifice, and a willingness to lead through service. In this episode, we explore what it means to become the kind of man God has called us to be. We talk about having the courage to stand for truth, take responsibility for our choices, protect and serve those entrusted to us, love our families sacrificially, pursue holiness, and trust God when the path ahead is uncertain.
