The implications of these findings extend to the search for dark matter, as detecting such stars could provide insights into the existence of primordial black holes in the universe. The ongoing analysis of data from the Gaia satellite may soon shed light on this intriguing possibility, with the potential to either confirm or rule out the role of primordial black holes in cosmic phenomena.
