Music Lovers! Please find here my Burning Man 2019 podcast! It was already 4 years ago that I attended ‘The Burn’ in Nevada and this year I was very drawn to go back to the Playa to celebrate life and play some sets in the middle of the desert. I had some beautiful serendipitous moments running into people I would never have thought to run into. One special one was that I ran into my Pakistani friend who is a well-known actress and all of a sudden showed up in a very small tipi. I was wearing a hat and goggles so I thought no-one would recognise me……well….I was wrong! It was so wonderful to finally meet her in real life after have been in touch on social media for some years. Another one was to run into my ‘One Golden’ friend for 3 times during the 4 days I was there. Believe me, that is hard on such a big playa with 70.000 people being there. A few other highlights were playing the magical 747 Boeing airplane with many of my friends and my percussion friend Caleb on my side. I played a set for him and his wife Levina right before their wedding and then another remarkable set was at the art car called ‘Smile High’. I played a 3 hour set with all these beautiful people on and off the car in front of that beautiful art piece. It was very special to finally play this set for one of my close friends who runs the art car on the playa…..a gift from him to me to play his amazing art car and a gift from me to him to finally play on his ‘baby’ while being ‘fed’ by my friend Cristo, who is such a humble and talented artist. Well, listen to it yourself and let me know if you like it please? Much love! Alex

Hello friends, welcome to another Deep & Sexy episode (Stillness). During our hectic, active and distracted lives it feels like it’s harder and harder to find stillness inside. I am personally very curious so it feels like my mind is always on. For that reason I build in moments of peace and silence into my days. I find the most awareness and even creativity during those moments. Imagine walking outside and hearing absolutely nothing……where in the world is that even possible? If you find that spot consider yourself fortunate. On another note: enjoy my new creation. I hope you find a state of peace while listening to it. Till the next time! Alex
Welcome to my new Deep & Sexy podcast! There are times that we need the sparks of people around us. It’s a great reminder to fuel our own sparks as well and shine bright into the world. It’s all about what we focus on. We are powerful and can have an impact on the people around us and maybe even bigger, the communities we are part of and from there spread that frequency to even more people. It’s very contagious to me when I see someone in their full power. Whether it’s an athlete getting ready for his/her ultimate race at the Olympics or just someone being loving and caring towards their loved ones. I see powerful sparks when that happens in front of me. So I want to remind you to focus on your own spark and show and share them with the people around you. Cause that will fuel their sparks inside them. Enjoy the musical ride! Much love, Alex
Every year that I attend Burning Man is completely different from any other year. And so was this one. I arrived Sunday late night in Reno, slept and saw the weather forecast…I decided to see my friend at Lake Tahoe and got a close eye onto the weather forecast and the Burning Man page on X. Rain, road closures, strong winds, gate closures…it just kept on going…. My first gig was planned at 10:30pm at Soundgarden on Wednesday evening so I had some time before I ‘needed’ to be there. Finally Wednesday early morning I packed up all my stuff, last Wholefoods run and off I went. Arriving at the sandy road, right off of the paved road, I immediately noticed many cars getting stuck after slipping and sliding in the mud. All I focused on was to keep on moving with my car because once I was gonna stop, I knew I would have been stuck in the mud like many others around me. I made it to the end of the line cause the gate was (again) closed. But pfew……I did not get stuck and was a little closer to getting in. After being in line for a closed gate for about 5 hours the line started moving again and I was secretly still hoping to be in time for my set at Soundgarden later that evening. Hours passed by but I got closer and closer. Once I was in I drove straight to my camp, parked my car, got changed, jumped on my bike and made my way over to Soundgarden. I arrived at the camp and had just heard about a power outage but the sound was back on, there was music so I headed over to the dj booth and gracefully took over the decks. Welcome to Burning Man. Within 24 hours I played that set, early am at Bubbles and Bass the next morning and after that I played in the magical PlayAlchemist Pyramid Thursday evening for their Gold night. What a special place, what a powerful atmosphere and so much joy and playfulness I saw while playing there. With so many of my friends showing up and so many new faces in front of me and behind me in the booth I enjoyed every second of the musical journey out there. Thanks Berge for showing up a little later than expected so I was able to play a little longer than initially scheduled. That’s also Burning Man. Thank you all for the love and support and the standing ovation! Deep gratitude for you all and everyone at PlayAlchemist for bringing this magical pyramid to the Burn. ❤️
Last weekend I played a birthday party off of the coast of Cartagena on a private island. First of all, I love Colombia. For some reason the people always strike me with their open heart and kindness. It is probably one of my favourite countries in the world. The people and beauty of the country make me feel like home. Secondly, I felt very inspired to create a new podcast after this event. So I buried myself in my studio and the result you’ll find here. I hope you’ll enjoy this new journey. My apologies for not having created a new podcast sooner than now, my calendar has been extremely full with lots of travel but I am glad I dedicated the time to gift you another Deep & Sexy podcast. Enjoy it and don't forget to share it with your favourite people! Let me know how you like it? Much love, Alex
Hello beautiful people! Please welcome my new creation here! I hope you will like it, I put a lot of effort in this one, probably edited all of the tracks that I used to create that, in my opinion, unique storyline where you feel like you are taken on a journey. I personally always love driving in my car and listen to it while I enjoy the beautiful nature around me. But that’s me. I called it Passion. Why? Because I feel like we need to spark our inner passion more. Sometimes we live our lives too habitual, days and weeks fly by and before we know it it’s already mid November. So I would like to encourage you to sit still, look deep within and ask yourself what lights your inner fire? Whatever it is, please do more of that for the last 1.5 month of this year. Live with (more) passion, cause you will feel more alive and vibrant and people around you will notice that. And don’t we want to be around more vibrant people in our lives? Enjoy this ride and if you like this podcast, please don’t forget to like it and share it with your community. Much love, Alex
