FULL SHOW | Sam & Izzy (28/10/26)

New Zealand cricketer Daryl Mitchell reflects on a challenging T20 match against India, where the Black Caps fell short despite a strong batting performance. Mitchell scored 89 runs off 52 balls, but India's Abhishek Sharma's explosive century led to a six-wicket victory for the visitors, securing a 3-0 lead in the series.

Mitchell acknowledges the disappointment in the team's performance but emphasizes the importance of learning from the experience. He notes that the upcoming match at Eden Park presents an opportunity to bounce back and finish the series on a high note. The team is focused on maintaining clarity and executing their game plan, particularly against a formidable Indian side.

As the Black Caps prepare for their next match, Mitchell expresses hope that the home crowd will rally behind the team, creating an electrifying atmosphere. With the series nearing its conclusion, the team aims to inspire future generations of cricketers in New Zealand.
