Show Notes
On this edition of My World, Jeff Jarrett and Conrad Thompson break down all the biggest news and notes from an action-packed weekend in professional wrestling before welcoming one of TNA's original homegrown stars to the show, "Wildcat" Chris Harris! Chris joins the guys for an honest and nostalgic look back at the birth of America's Most Wanted, revealing how he and James Storm developed the chemistry that made them one of the greatest tag teams in TNA history. From drawing inspiration from legendary duos like the Midnight Express, Rock 'n' Roll Express, and Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard, to becoming the cornerstone of TNA's tag team division, Harris shares stories you've never heard before. Jeff and Chris also revisit the unforgettable days of the Nashville Fairgrounds "Asylum," the excitement and uncertainty of launching a brand-new wrestling promotion, and TNA's evolution into the Spike TV era in Orlando. Jeff offers candid insight into his philosophy on tag team wrestling and why he always believed great teams should be allowed to grow rather than be split apart too soon. The conversation doesn't shy away from the business side of wrestling either, as Chris opens up about the frustrations surrounding his 2008 TNA contract negotiations, the communication breakdown that led to his departure, and the backstage realities of navigating creative, politics, and leadership during one of the company's most pivotal eras. Finally, the interview takes a deeply personal turn as Chris reflects on his sobriety journey and the impact Jeff Jarrett has had as both a mentor and friend. Jeff shares heartfelt thoughts on recovery, perseverance, and the day-to-day commitment required to overcome life's toughest battles.
