Today I'm joined by Joanne Begley, founder of For After I've Gone, a series of end of life legacy journals for people to leave their loved ones for after they die. Joanne's idea came from love. She supported a friend with MND who wanted to leave something meaningful for her children, and when she couldn't find anything on the market to suit her friend, she created it herself. Joanne also lives with her own health challenges. Her personal experience led her to reflect deeply on mortality. Instead of looking away, she turned it into something that helps other families. Her background is in social care, and she has an end of life therapy diploma and is studying to become a death doula. Today the collection includes editions for parents, siblings, partners and friends, giving people a way to capture the things that so often go unsaid. We talk about why these conversations matter, how to start them, and what it means to build a business around legacy while living with your own health story. It's a moving, honest and surprisingly uplifting conversation, and I think it will stay with you. You can connect with Joanne here on her Instagram This episode supports With Love and Dreams
Today I'm joined by my beautiful friend, Alison Clarke who many of you already know as the queen of transformation from her Instagram, where she's been openly sharing her grey grow out and proving that you can let your greys grow at any age and still be an absolute bombshell. Alison spent nearly ten years in investment banking before a difficult fertility journey led her to leave it all behind with no plan B, and dive deep into women's health and hormones, long before wellness was mainstream. That curiosity turned into a ten-year career building the doTERRA essential oils market in Ireland and helped her conceive both her sons along the way. Now she's in the middle of reinventing herself again, championing positive aging and women's health and hormones. We talk about embracing change, the seasons of life that ask the most of us, and why she believes we're always meant to keep evolving. This is a warm, honest chat between two friends, I hope you enjoy this conversation. In this episode I'm joined by Jessica Parente from Long Beach, California. I have loved connecting with Jessica and getting to know her more during this conversation. Jessica spent 23 years building an impressive corporate career in fashion, but in 2025, everything came to a head and Jessica decided to leave her job. She took a leave from work to prioritise her health, and has been on a journey of reinvention ever since. This is an honest, relatable conversation about burnout, midlife, and the quiet courage it takes to step off a path that looks perfect from the outside. I think so many of you are going to see yourselves in Jessica's story 💛 You can connect with Jessica on her Instagram here This episode supports Smudges Colourful Statement Earrings | Unique Hand-painted Jewellery.
