Show Notes
The hair choices in this 1996 film are mesmerizing, the wardrobe is out of this world, and the way this story wraps up wth a dramatic court scene meant that they'd be no better guest than a glamorous lawyer who takes on not-so-glamourous cases. Enter Molly's pal, Attoney Stara, a defense attorney living in the Dallas area who also shares her takes on various cases on TikTok and is a fixture in Molls' lives.
From IMDb:
Thanks to a roommate's practical joke, bookish college student Joanna Halbert finds herself signed up with a Malibu-based escort service. Her initial annoyance turns to curiosity when she visits the boss's beach house, and she is soon captivated by the seemingly glamorous lifestyle of working as a high-class escort. Before long, however, she realizes that glitz and money go hand in hand with exploitation and sleaze--and it may be too late to get out.
