I sat down with my friend Ilya Zlotnik, who is also my financial advisor, because I keep seeing the same problem in the trading world…being a great trader doesn't make you a good investor. To break it down, I walk Ilya through five "trader avatars," so we can cover what someone might want to do with their money at every stage of their trading career. I also open up about my own journey from cleaning pools to building my early war chest, wasting time picking stocks when I thought I was "smart," dealing with real estate headaches, and eventually simplifying down to index funds after years of chasing complexity.
