There are all kinds of stats out there stating the average time it takes to learn something new. I think of myself as "above average" so I "should" learn quickly. When I don't learn something right away, you can count on frustration and lack of patience showing up quickly. In this episode I share some reasons why it takes longer than we would hope to build a new way of doing and how we can override our bodies protection mechanism to learn more quickly and install neural pathways that last. You'll also find some techniques that you can use to keep your nervous system feeling safe so that your brain can learn and create these new pathways with greater ease.

Drawing parallels from gaming terminology, we will explore how these roles manifest in our daily lives and how adopting a main character mindset can empower you to take control of your life's journey. Listeners are encouraged to reflect on their personal roles and understand how shifting away from NPC energy towards MCE can lead to intentional living and personal growth.
