Show Notes
Paddy Keenan: Coppers and Brasses, Johnny's Tune For The Avalon,
Angus MacKay: Rakes of Kilkenny, Farrell's Pipes, Galloway Tom, Pipers' Maggot, Paddy O'Rafferty, Spanish Waltz,
O'Farrell: Rakes of Kilkenny, Farrell's Pipes, Galloway Tom, Pipers' Maggot, Paddy O'Rafferty,
I had a pretty intense time listening to Paddy Keenan's playing and browsing the Gallery on his website:
https://www.paddykeenan.com/gallery
All the Tunes on this week's show come from one of O'Farrell's 5 publications or Angus MacKay's 3rd and 4th manuscript, viewable at the National Library of Scotland:
https://manuscripts.nls.uk/repositories/2/resources/18513
For O'Farrell's Pocket Companion 1 and 2 you can view them online from the National Libary of Scotland's Website:
1806ish: O Farrells Pocket Companion for the Irish or Union Pipes Vol 1

1806ish: O Farrells Pocket Companion for the Irish or Union Pipes Vol 2

Vol 3 and 4 are available on Ross's Music Page:
https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/archive/rja14/Papers/ofarrellspc3.pdf
https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/archive/rja14/Papers/ofarrellspc4.pdf
Unfortunately O Farrel's Tutor is not available online anywhere except as ABC notation, and presently I'm having a hard time finding that even.
