Whose moat is being destroyed by PayPal?! Find out on this week’s PlayingFTSE Show!

Underperformance from Steve this week. Doesn’t matter which one – it’s true of both of them…

We’ve had a viewer request to take a look at Nike. And it’s a good one – the stock has been falling, but is it cheap enough to buy?

Steve D’s been taking a look at what might be the start of a long process. But Steve W has an idea for how to structure a way in…

The S&P 500’s big tech stocks reported this week. And Steve W has a run-down of Alphabet, Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft.

Strong cloud growth is reassuring investors about high capex. But why has the stock market been sending one of them lower?

Mastercard is one of Steve D’s newer investments. And the latest results show a business that keeps on moving forward.

There are no points for making things more difficult than they need to be. So why do investors buy anything apart from Mastercard and Visa?

Who makes the best mayonnaise? Find out on this week’s PlayingFTSE Show! Steve D is back, but probably wishing he wasn’t. It’s a story of the bad and the worse in the stock market this week as the S&P 500 marches on… Shares in Vistry are down – again – after the results of the new CEO’s investigation. There’s a £400m writedown and an important change of direction for the business. Both Steves have owned this, but it’s been one set of bad news after another. And Steve D has made a big decision… Exor is a stock that has confounded value investors for some time. It trades at a huge discount to its net asset value, but could that be about to change? There’s a share buyback programme on the way and the potential for an exciting new investment. Steve W thinks this one looks interesting. It’s been a tough couple of years for Nike shareholders and the news isn’t really getting any better. Kylian Mbappe has moved to a competitor. On Running has been taking share from the market leader for some time. But with the stock now trading at the same multiples as Nike, is it worth a look at these prices?
