UAP Files podcast S4|E26: In this episode of the UAP Files Podcast, I’m joined by Professor Michael Bohlander — a former judge in Germany, former legal officer at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and former international co-investigating judge at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia.
He now teaches at Durham University, where he holds the title of Chair in Global Law and SETI Policy. Professor Bohlander speaks to me in a purely personal capacity and his views represent him and him alone…In this interview we discuss:- The difference between evidence and proof — and why people constantly confuse the two- Why saying “there’s no evidence” in the UFO/UAP debate is often just wrong- How judges assess credibility, reliability and witness testimony- What makes some evidence stronger than others, including cases involving children and multiple witnesses- The Ariel School and Westall cases, and why they still matter- Whether military testimony, radar data and whistleblower accounts count as meaningful evidence- Carl Sagan’s “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” argument — and whether it actually holds up- The problem of classified information, secrecy and narrative control- Why citizen science may be one of the best ways forward in the search for answers- SETI, UAPs, academia, and why the subject still carries so much stigmaIf you enjoy these conversations, please consider subscribing, liking the video and sharing it with others interested in UFOs, UAPs and the wider non-human intelligence discussion. This is some of the most fascinating UFO footage I've seen in a while.Filmed over Long Beach, California, on 21 October 2017, the footage appears to show a large, bright, egg-shaped UFO seemingly releasing dozens of smaller orbs into the atmosphere.According to the man who captured it, known on X as Jim Films UFOs, he initially spotted two objects crossing paths before focusing his camera on the larger one. What happened next is pretty extraordinary. As he zoomed in using his full-spectrum infrared camera, the object appeared to begin ejecting smaller spheres, initially forming a triangular formation before releasing what he estimates to be at least 40 individual orbs.Interestingly, Jim claims these smaller objects were only visible through his infrared camera. In this video, I share the original footage, make some basic adjustments to the contrast and colours (no AI upscaling), and take a closer look at what appears to be happening.I also revisit two fascinating UFO cases from New Zealand, including footage captured by Elliot Howie in Christchurch showing a strangely shaped object seemingly releasing smaller objects, and imagery captured by Ray Hermans showing unusual egg-shaped objects in the sky.Could these sightings be connected? Are we looking at something similar, or is there a more conventional explanation?I'd love to hear what you think in the comments.Want to support the channel?
