Jesus shows us that the wilderness is not where God’s purpose stops — it can be where His purpose is formed. In this message, we look at Jesus’ time in the wilderness and what His response to temptation teaches us about standing on God’s Word, resisting the enemy’s lies and trusting God in difficult seasons. Whatever wilderness you may be facing — fear, failure, loneliness, weakness or lack — Jesus has already overcome. The victory isn’t that hard seasons never come, but that because of Jesus, they don’t get the final word. In Jesus, every wilderness has already been won.

Jesus calls us to be the light of the world, but what happens when we allow fear, compromise, busyness and neglect to cover the light within us? In this message, we’re reminded that following Jesus means more than keeping our faith to ourselves. We’re called to SHINE our light through kindness, STAND firm in the truth of the Gospel, and live in a way that GLORIFIES God. The world needs the hope of Jesus, and it starts with us. Let’s remove the baskets, live out our faith boldly, and point people to the goodness of God in everything we do.
What if following Jesus was never just about you? In Luke 5, Jesus calls ordinary fishermen to leave their nets and follow Him — and in the process, He gives them a whole new purpose. The same invitation is still before us today. In this message, we’re reminded that Jesus doesn’t just save us; He shapes us into people who carry His good news to the world around us.
