The system of Enochian magick, discovered and developed by John Dee and Edward Kelley in the 1500s, has fascinated ritual magicians for centuries. Enochian magick played a prominent role in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and its successors, and Aleister Crowley attained many of his greatest mystical insights and initiatory successes using the system. Demonology As Devourment Without A Devourer by Oren Ben Yosef Out Now: https://amzn.to/3V3Qtx1 What if demons aren’t mythological beings but structural presences coded into our technologies, our stories, and ourselves? Watch the full live episode: https://youtube.com/live/F7IKcKJYVkg Demonology as Devourment Without a Devourer is neither a grimoire of evil spirits, nor a catalog of arcane names - it is a philosophical descent into the abyss that is the devouring logic of the demonic. In these pages, demonology becomes more than the mere study of demons; it becomes a theory of hunger, destruction, possession, and transformation. Through close readings of movies such as The Matrix, Constantine, and John Wick, as well as the Black Mirror series and other contemporary cultural texts, this book redefines demonology as the study of devourment: how systems consume their users, how messages erase their media, how reality is overwritten by simulation. Drawing from philosophy, theology, occult studies, and contemporary culture, this book reimagines the demonic not as an external evil but as a force that gnaws at human limits. The demon is no longer a mere symbol - it is a method, a rupture, a technology that unmakes and remakes the subject. The demon emerges not from hell but from feedback loops, virtual doubles, and machines that rewrite human desire. These are not beings of fire and brimstone - they are the operators of rules, the agents of erasure, the avatars of entropy. Philosophical, unsettling, and timely, Demonology as Devourment offers not an exorcism but a diagnosis. The demons have returned - wearing new skins.
Been saying I'd do this with you for years now...let's go! The Confessions of Aleister Crowley https://amzn.to/4qY1bB6 Frater R.C. reads from The Confessions of Aleister Crowley, the notorious occultist’s sprawling autobiography, exploring Crowley’s own account of his life, magical career, Thelema, ceremonial magick, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, mysticism, scandal, spiritual experimentation, and his self-fashioned identity as “The Great Beast 666.” This reading series approaches Crowley in his own words, placing The Confessions of Aleister Crowley within the wider history of Western esotericism, Hermeticism, occultism, ritual magic, and the magical revival of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The Confessions of Aleister Crowley offers an intimate look at the occultist's life, career, and spiritual evolution. By grounding The Confessions of Aleister Crowley in the broader history of Western esotericism, we better understand the foundations of Thelema and the development of modern ceremonial magick. This discussion is designed for students seeking to place these classic texts within the historical framework of the magical revival. ▶ JOIN THE CHANNEL Join over 125 YouTube channel members for Zoom hangouts, special streams, private lesson videos and loads more content: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsS3K4kGZg5LORnTTWBeVWA/join 🜁 ENOCHIACON 2026 — Nov 6–8 📍 Austin, Texas Register today to access all 2026 events: https://www.arcaneresearchsociety.com/2026 📖 LEARN TRADITIONAL ENOCHIAN MAGICK Special deal — 20% off with code: DRDYE https://www.enochiangrimoire.com 🙏 HELP THE PODCAST GROW ▶ Follow on Spotify ⭐ Leave a review on Apple Podcasts ⭐ Give 5 stars on Amazon Music & Audible Disclosure: some links above are affiliate links.
