Show Notes
We have the stunning Miranda Hope back on the podcast for the third time, and every time she joins us, her life somehow gets even more interesting — but this episode truly takes the cake.
We do a full dumpster-deep dive into everything that’s happened over the last year since her last episode, including what made her change her mind about going on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, what really went down with Chase, and how she actually feels now about being on the show. Miranda opens up about shifting friendships, her current dating life, navigating online hate and love, and the pressure that comes with being so publicly discussed.
Plus, we talk about her singing career, where it’s headed, and all the in-between moments that don’t make the cut on the show!

Trigger Warning: Discussion of sexual assault It’s trash day! 🗑️ And boy, do things feel like TRASH right now! So instead of our usual pop culture/TikTok trash, we’re diving into some of the things I do to help myself when I’m feeling like TRASH mentally. Including my biggest takeaways from The Let Them Theory and just how important the “LET ME” part really is. But before we get into all of that, I share a very personal story in hopes of helping young girls and women recognize the signs of an unhealthy or abusive relationship. I have SO much anxiety about sharing this story, but I hope that by opening up about my experience, it can help someone else recognize what they might be going through. Thank you for listening with compassion. ❤️
Today’s episode is filled with so many emotions as Marissa opens up about the many things she’s been through and the experiences that have shaped her life.We start by dumpster deep diving into her childhood, family, and the goals she had after high school. We then dive into the assault that took place in 2019, her decision to press charges, and the uphill battle she faced while fighting for justice within the justice system. Marissa opens up about her mental health during that time, navigating the legal process, and the eventual outcome of her case. From there, we dive into another life altering chapter, unexpectedly becoming pregnant. Marissa shares the hardships she experienced in that relationship, her decision to place her baby for adoption, and how those plans ultimately changed. She talks about becoming a single mom, working through the emotional rollercoaster of that experience, and eventually coming out the other side stronger. We end with Marissa meeting her now husband, building a beautiful life together, their IVF journey, and the emotions that have come up for her during this pregnancy.I want to thank Marissa for trusting us with her story and being willing to share so many vulnerable parts of her life with us. ❤️🩹
