Show Notes
Grab your guitar and relax by the sunset, as Sword of SEGA is taking it easy this week with some mellow RPG music and arrangements that predominantly feature acoustic guitars and piano. But it’s not all about sipping cider and reminiscing about the good old days, oh no, as we’ll also be continuing with Chapter 4 of our Sword of SEGA Role Playing Adventure. Grab your hat and jump on the sofa, it’s time to unwind!

Tru Skies revives Sword of SEGA for another round during RadioSEGA's 10th Birthday Celebrations. Wait, I think you mean 10 years of LiVE shows, Tru... While celebrating the wrong anniversary, we also take a whistlestop tour of the history of Sword of SEGA while analysing the contents of seasons 1 and 2 of the show!
Sword of SEGA has now reached the end of season 2, and to celebrate, we’ve got a bumper three hour special packed full of amazing battle themes and orchestral melodies from a whole range of non-SEGA Role Playing Games, past and present! Including fantastic games such as the Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda series, Lost Odyssey, Chrono Cross, Pokémon, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and more! Plus we’ve also reached the conclusion to our epic Sword of SEGA Role Playing Adventure. Let’s go out with a bang!
We're almost at the end of season 2 of Sword of SEGA, so we'll be taking a look back at all the amazing SEGA Role Playing Game music we've discovered and enjoyed throughout our adventure together, building up a playlist of the very best in SEGA RPG music. Don't forget to tune in next week for our Not Quite Sword of SEGA special, plus the finale to our Role Playing Adventure. Thanks for joining us!
This week, Sword of SEGA is taking a break from SEGA RPGs (wait, what??) to celebrate those other amazing Role Playing Games released on SEGA consoles, including the likes of the Lunar series and Grandia series. Especially the Grandia series! And if you like that, then come back on the 6th June for our Not Quite Sword of SEGA special when we’ll be playing music from all other RPGs and MMOs because RPG music really is the best.
The Random Hour joins Sword of SEGA this week as we have our very first guest host, foreversonic! Much like the Magic Box show of last season, we let Auto DJ run rampant and allowed fate to dictate the music, and well, we ended up with quite a nice selection indeed. Plus, we're taking a break from our Sword of SEGA Role Playing Adventure to visit the magical land of Brightondra! Whoo! So join CapnCloudchaser and foreversonic for something a little bit different this week.
