She's a certified nurse, birth doula, postpartum doula, and lactation consultant. Haley walks us through the role of a doula starting out from your first appointment in pregnancy all the way to your final postpartum appointment. She helps us to better understand what birth and postpartum look like when you hire a doula and then gives solid pieces of advice on how to find a strong and supportive doula in your area.
