It's memoir season, baby! We've covered a lot of memoirs and it's rare to find one so honest and full of Hollywood tea, but Michael Douglas came all the way through. I got to talk to him for an extended interview and we got into it al: growing up with a famous actor father, his longtime friendship with Danny DeVito, allll the love affairs, insulting Julia Roberts, marriage to Catherine, his cancer journey, Liberace and his biggest movies.
This week was a short one but long on stories! I came back from my [redacted] trip while my children were gifted squishies by my parents...which TSA swiftly took away. Then, we discussed the RHOC Reunion taping, my cameo on the finale of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, and the Moskito Island (aka White Lotus) trip on RHONY. Plus, my tour is about to start and Daddy's about to be super busy!
Yo Adrienne! We have a bonus episode this week! I got to sit down with the icon Sly Stallone to talk about his book, "The Steps." We talked about him living in squalor in NYC, teaching himself to write screenplays, and the journey to getting Rocky made...and to the Oscars.
This week, Jeff Lewis joined us on Monday and started a WHOLE THING about what the going rate is for a babysitter. Then, I was inducted into the Broadcasting Hall of Fame which I'm really excited about. Cousin Dave came to say hello on his way to a 10-day silent meditation retreat (note to self: send John to this). Plus, we called Anderson Cooper and Ben and I had a bit of a terrace "incident" that I may already regret sharing (the inbox is closed for feedback on this one!).
This week, I settled my DWTS beef with Julia Stiles but started a new beef - against my will - with an Andy on Twitter. Plus, Oprah called in (every heard of her?!!) Then, Lady Posh entered the chat to weigh in on my striped jeans (after offlining with John Hill about them). Plus, I made Ben proud with my arm wrestling skills and he had some tough goodbyes to say.
