Helena Tubridy - Fear & Fertility

Scared Shitless with Claire Walsh

Show Notes

Helena Tubridy is a fertility and IVF coach and she joined me to help me talk about my fears around not becoming a mother.

In this episode we talk about fear of not being enough, fear and the financial toll, fear of hoping and when the decision is made to talk away, fear of not finding fulfillment.

This episode is a very personal one but one that I think is important. So many of these fears exist in the shadows. For the thousands of women, like me, I want to shine a light on the experience of being childless not by choice.

A massive thank you to Helena who was so generous with her understanding and expertise. You can find Helena on instagram @helenatubridy

Today I am talking to psychologist, best-selling author and award-winning podcast host Dr. Clodagh Campbell. In this episode Clodagh talks about Fear and Loneliness, when to reach out and when to learn to sit with yourself. For me when tackling difficult emotions, I know that I have to do it, but what’s more helpful is to find the way how to do it. That’s exactly what Clodagh’s new book does. The Steps offer a practical way of working through fear, loneliness... and whatever else life throws our way. I hope you found this episode as beneficial as I did.
