When life is fine but you feel flat, the answer usually isn't fixing something. It's adding a little absorption back into your day, and you can start tonight.
This short exercise walks you through it. Pick one small thing that asks for a little skill and has a clear finish line, like a recipe you've never made, a drawer that's been sticking for months, or a real game with your kid. Then protect fifteen to twenty minutes for it, with your phone in another room, and finish it.
You'll also hear how to set the difficulty so your mind doesn't wander or tense up, the one question to ask afterward, and what to realistically expect from trying it a few times this week.
It won't lift the gray overnight, and skipping a night is fine. If the flat feeling is heavy and has lasted for weeks, the episode points you to your doctor.

Dinner's done, the kids are okay, work is okay, and the bills are on schedule. Someone asks how you are, you say "fine," and you mean it. So why does it feel like you're watching your own life through a window?
Some tasks take the same hour from your week, every week. This short, practical exercise shows you how to take one of those hours back and decide what it's for.
By noon on a Saturday, the laundry, groceries, errands and rides have already taken the day. The weekend feels like it got away from you.
