Episode 1424: Laurie Horder Tribute - Let's Hear Them Again - One Last Time
Indigo FM Radio Show PodcastsShow Notes
Laurie Horder moved to Beechworth in 2013 from the Gold Coast to be closer to family. He brought 25 years of community radio experience to Indigo FM when he joined in 2014. So many amusing memories and stories. Probably my favourite was Laurie unexpectedly turning up to the studio at 6:30am on a Winter morning in 2014 to "surprise" Greta and myself (Scott) on air and share a bunch of inappropriate, old skool jokes with our audience. Laurie's spirit was formidable and his energy contagious. Laurie always told us that any time, any hour of the day we required someone to "man the station" that Laurie was our guy! Gotta love that !!!
We found this show in our archives from 2016. An episode of Laurie's long running "Let's Hear Them Again" weekly show. Enjoy listening to a true old skool radio pro.
Our sincere condolences to Heather and family. RIP Laurie - may you rule the airwaves for time infinite.
