Episode 734 - Top Ten Essential College Rock Bands Part 2 w/Jeremy Levy & David Robinson
All Time Top TenShow Notes
One of the best things about doing this podcast is when we get to put ourselves in a place and time. For Top Ten Essential College Rock Bands, our special guests Jeremy Levy and David Robinson have put us in the rockin' college town of Columbia, MO and landed us squarely in the heart of the Essential College Rock Bands timeline - the 80s and early 90s. It's been a blast digging into this topic made up of groups of incredibly creative artists doing their own thing in the face of Reagan-era blandness and corporate consolidation. This is the true rock underground of the era and the link between punk and 90s alternative. Bands 5-1 are revealed here in part 2 of 2. Viva College Rock!
