Ep. 42 - 60 Minute Yoga Nidra for Deep Rest & Inner Stillness - Antara

THE YOGA NIDRA PODCAST

Show Notes

**Antara - The Space Between**

Welcome to Yoga Nidra #42.

Antara (अन्तर) is a Sanskrit word associated with the inner space, the interior, and the interval between things.

This 60-minute Yoga Nidra is an invitation to explore the quiet spaces we so often overlook - the silence between sounds, the stillness between breaths, and the awareness beneath our thoughts.

For most of our lives, we are busy doing, thinking, planning, and becoming.

But what happens when we stop?

What remains when we gently set aside our responsibilities, our roles, and even the stories we tell ourselves about who we are?

During this practice, I will guide you through:

- Arrival and deep relaxation - Awareness of sound and silence - Sankalpa — setting an intention - Rotation of consciousness through the body - Breath awareness - Exploring opposites: nearness and distance - A gentle exploration of identity and awareness - Deep rest accompanied by ambient music

You don't need to make yourself relax.

You don't need to empty your mind.

You don't need to find any answers.

You can simply rest.

The guided Yoga Nidra is followed by an extended period of uninterrupted ambient music, allowing you to remain in stillness, continue resting, or drift naturally into sleep.

Find a comfortable place to lie down, close your eyes, and allow my voice to guide you.

Headphones are recommended, but not required.

And if you fall asleep during the practice, that's perfectly okay.

**Practice:** Yoga Nidra / Guided Meditation / Deep Rest

**Theme:** Antara - The Space Between

**Total duration:** 60 minutes

Thank you for sharing this practice with me.

Ālaya - The Inner Home Welcome to Yoga Nidra #41. This practice is an invitation to come home to yourself, to a quiet inner space where nothing is expected of you, nothing needs to be achieved, and for a little while, you don't need to be anything for anyone. We begin by settling into the body and natural breath before moving through Sankalpa, rotation of consciousness, breath awareness and opposite sensations. From there, I will guide you along a quiet path toward an inner place of warmth, safety and stillness - a place that doesn't need to be created, but simply remembered. You don't need to make yourself relax. You don't need to make your mind empty. You don't need to become anything. You can simply rest. The guided Yoga Nidra lasts approximately 41 minutes, followed by an extended period of music so you can remain in stillness, continue resting, or drift into sleep. Find a comfortable place to lie down, close your eyes, and allow my voice to guide you. Headphones are recommended, but not required. If you fall asleep during the practice, that's perfectly okay.
