Show Notes
In this new episode, our magic bag of sounds has placed us at the Fire Station open day with Amber and Josh. The Fire Station is a very interesting place with lots of interesting new sounds to hear. We're listening for some very specific sounds, can you spot them?
We link each sound with words to help develop your little one's vocabulary and engagement with the world around them. Brought to you by Small Wardour, makers of award-winning podcasts for kids.
Sing along with Lucy for the Phone and Fire Engine song, lyrics below.
Verse 1
Every day we’re learning new sounds At fire stations, they’re all around A Rumbling truck and a ringing phone The whoosh and the splash of the water hose The sirens are wailing to let them know That quickly, it’s time to go!
Verse 2
Listen close to what we have heard For every sound we learn a new word Quiet ones, noisy ones whistles and clangs Booming and whispering, crashes and bangs Our sound adventures have just begun Let’s listen and learn everyone
