LIVERPOOL vs SPURS LIVE REACTION & PHONE-IN | Carabao Cup Third Round | An Echo of Glory
An Echo of GloryShow Notes
Liverpool vs Spurs in the Carabao Cup... and we're live the moment the final whistle goes at Anfield.
Adam and Jake are in the studio for a full post-match phone-in. No VAR tonight, straight to penalties if it's level after 90, and a Spurs side that hasn't scored a Premier League goal all season walking into Anfield with a place in the fourth round on the line. So there's plenty to talk about either way.
CALL IN: 0800 229 4492 Lines open from the moment we go live. Get your reaction on air, whether you're buzzing or fuming.
What we're getting into tonight: • The result and the performance... did we finally see a Spurs goal? • De Zerbi's team selection. Did the rotation work, and who took their chance? • Richarlison back in the picture for the cups. Did he start, and did he matter? • Solanke, Tel, Kudus, Sávio, Marmoush... who's actually going to score for this team? • Four league blanks, a club first. Is the mood shifting or is it still too early? • Your calls, your rants, your hot takes
We go live at 10pm or immediately after full time, whichever comes first.

Jake R, Jake S and Gary are back for a post match reaction show after Spurs finally got off the mark in the league. Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Coventry City to North London on Monday in pursuit of a first Premier League win this season, and collected a 3-1 victory over their newly-promoted visitors. James Maddison gave Spurs their first lead of the season with a brilliant first time finish from the edge of the box. Against his old club too, which made it even sweeter for him. The win moves Spurs out of the bottom three after James Maddison, Omar Marmoush, and Ben Davies scored against Frank Lampard's Cov.
What a game that was. We are back this morning to pick through the bones of a proper rollercoaster at Old Trafford. Tottenham Hotspur were the dominant side for 60 minutes, but Bryan Mbeumo turned it all upside and put Manchester United ahead, only for Dominic Solanke to equalise in stoppage time, following Rodrigo Bentancur's red card.
