Vicki Makes Tamra Cry, Jeff Lewis Reignites Bethenny Feud, Teddi Loses Focus & RHONY's Double Standard
BEHIND THE VELVET ROPESummary
A new reality competition series titled "The Mob" is set to premiere on Hulu on October 26. Hosted by Parker Posey, the show features 12 celebrity contestants who will compete for a chance to win up to $250,000 while navigating the dynamics of a fictional mob family. Contestants will be tasked with choosing a "Don" to lead them, who will wield significant power over decisions regarding who stays in the game and who is eliminated. The show promises a blend of strategy, loyalty, and deception, set against the backdrop of a lavish Italian villa.
In other entertainment news, discussions surrounding the behavior of reality TV personalities continue to spark controversy. Recent comments made by Aaron regarding Povet's sexuality have drawn parallels to past incidents where individuals were accused of attempting to out others. Critics highlight a perceived double standard in the reactions to these situations, questioning why similar outrage is not directed at Aaron's comments.
Additionally, the ongoing personal dramas among reality stars, including the tumultuous relationship between Vicky and Tamara from "Real Housewives of Orange County," reveal the complexities of friendships and reconciliations within the reality TV landscape. As Vicky's podcast stirs tensions, Tamara's emotional responses underscore the challenges of navigating public personas and personal feelings in the spotlight.
Show Notes
Even though RHONY has made its mark in this revamp to the reboot of the revamp, many, including Michael Rapaport just dont seem to get it. There are a few inconsistencies, half truths and double standards though that seem to be affecting Erin, Sai, Jessel and our slew of newbies this season. Teddi Mellencamp makes major moves. West is apparently giving his phone numbers to other women all over NYC. Jeff Lewis reignites his feud with Bethenny. Scheana is jealous of Ariana Biermann. Last, but sure not least, Vicki makes Tamra cry.
