In our 280th episode: Are the Spaniards handsy (grabby) and kissy (or kisser). What foreigners think of Spaniards. Stereotypes VIIIth, we address an issue that directly concerns the idiosyncrasy of Spanish people: their closeness, their warmth and familiarity in interpersonal relationships, which often entail physical contact very typical of our culture and very different in relation to other cultures of the world. We will know the situations in which this closeness occurs, what the gestures and physical interactions that are put into play and what is their significance among family members, acquaintances or friends.
