Show Notes
Welcome to Dark Realms,
Today we explore the history behind the inn before descending into its labyrinth of caves to examine three of its most disturbing alleged hauntings: the mysterious little girl who appears to visitors with no known historical identity, the unsettling Shadow Man whose silent presence drives people away, and the infamous entity said to lurk in the deepest cellars. Whether these experiences are rooted in psychology, folklore or something genuinely unexplained, the question remains… what is really waiting beneath Ye Olde Salutation Inn? Stay safe, Kevin. More from The Dark Paranormal
On this week’s Encounters, Tom takes us to a remote campsite in Northumberland, where what should have been a relaxing weekend with a friend became an experience neither has been able to forget. As the night draws in, an unsettling warning, an unnatural silence, and something that seems to know far more than it should leave us questioning just how safe we really are when we believe we’re alone. And perhaps more disturbingly, whether some things are simply waiting for an invitation. Stay safe, Kevin.
Some things are passed down through generations. Memories, traditions, family stories. But what if something far darker could be inherited too? For today’s listener, the unexplained has never been confined to a single house, a fleeting encounter, or a childhood memory. From an early age, certain experiences have left her questioning the relationship between those we’ve lost…and those they’ve left behind.
This week, we head to an old mining village in the southeast of England, where Jordan recalls a summer evening spent with a childhood friend. What began as an ordinary afternoon exploring a familiar place would become an experience neither of them could explain, and one Jordan has spent much of his adult life trying to understand.
Deep in the hills of Rajasthan, India, lies Bhangarh Fort, a once-thriving city now regarded as one of the most haunted places in the world. But what happened to its inhabitants, and why has this abandoned city become synonymous with curses, restless spirits and a darkness that supposedly awakens after sunset? Perhaps we’ll find answers on today’s show.
On this week’s episode, Chloe takes us back to a home in North Georgia that left her with a feeling she couldn’t explain. Years later, memories of that time resurfaced—and left her with a question she still can’t answer. Today we question if keeping “sightings” or experiences to yourself is dangerous…in both realms.
